The work for which bids are to be received consists of: The work for which bids will be received includes the manned-entry rehabilitation of approximately 1,266 linear feet of 72- inch reinforced concrete pipe. The manned-entry rehabilitation work will include both urethane and epoxy grout injection through the pipe wall into the surrounding pipe bedding, as well as troweled on epoxy mastic for sealing pipe joints within the pipe. Additionally, the work includes stabilization of soils above the rehabilitated pipe and beneath existing roadways through the use of polyurethane grouting. The work will also require bypass pumping of combined sewer flows on an asneeded basis, as well as traffic control. Work shall also include all supervision, equipment, traffic control and all appurtenances necessary to complete the work shown in the Drawings and Specifications. All work must be ready for satisfactory and continuous operation, in accordance with the Drawings and Specifications. The above referenced project description includes items that are part of the Itemized Base Bid. The Contractor shall be responsible for all work shown on the plans and described in the specifications pertaining to the Itemized Base Bid, regardless of the installation method chosen. The Evansville Water and Sewer Utility further reserves the right to waive informalities, and to award the contract to the lowest and most responsible bidder (or bidders), all to the advantage of the Evansville Water and Sewer Utility, or to reject all Proposals. The Work will be substantially completed within 120 from the date when the Contract Time commences to run. The Work shall be completed and ready for final payment within 150 from the date when the Contract Time commences to run. Final Completion: 180 consecutive Calendar Days
