Renovation of an educational facility in Lincoln, Nebraska. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The University of Nebraska-Lincoln is requesting proposals from qualified bidders to provide all material and labor for the City Campus Central Utility Plant (CCCUP) Coordination and demolition activities associated with selective removal of building metal insulated wall and roof system components, modifications to existing structural support components, rigging and setting of Owner-Furnished-Equipment (OFE) consisting of a new packaged steam boiler (Boiler #8) and associated ancillary equipment and structural support structures coordinated with the Owner and Owner's Representatives. Work consists of packaged high pressure watertube steam boiler with gas/oil burner and forced-draft fan equipment, flue gas economizer, boiler and economizer/stack support steel components and structures, stack, equipment foundations and related structures, infill repair of existing plant operating floor, metal building walls and roof, minor general construction, mechanical/electrical and control systems, and miscellaneous plant piping and pipe insulation removal and replacement systems.
