Project consists of providing all qualified labor, materials, transportation, traffic control, tools, equipment, and supplies necessary to excavate to expose the stormwater vault, demolish the vault, remove and dispose of reinforcing bar, prestress tendons, embedded pipe, metal items, crush and screen to specified size, resuse as compacted fill, re-grade and restore the site. Location of work is Sky Valley Switching Station, 19622 Tjerne PL SE, Monroe, WA. Contractors shall be on the District's Small Works Roster for the category of Substation General Site Construction, Concrete Construction or Earth Work/Drainage Work prior to bidding. All requests for clarification or additional information regarding this RFP must be submitted to the District via e-mail to bids@snopud.com. The District will not guarantee responses to questions received via other forms of communication (phone, voicemail, text, IM, etc.). Do not submit questions electronically Electronic submittals shall be limited to the documents specified in the RFP document and shall not include additional brochures, booklets or other sales material that are not specifically requested in the RFP. The District cannot guarantee internet access. It is strongly recommended that you respond 24 hours prior to the bid closing date and time for submittal. The District is unable to verify if a bid has been successfully uploaded in Public Purchase. The Public Purchase system places all submissions into a virtual lock box where they cannot be viewed by the District until after the due date and time. Bidders can check their submission by returning to the home page of Public Purchase. The bid will be shown in the "Bids Responding To" section. Do Not Email a Copy of Your Bid to the District. Electronically will not allow bids to be uploaded after the due date and time established. Bidders accept all risks for uploading their quotation by the established due date and time. If a Bidder uploads a file to Public Purchase, it is the Bidder's responsibility to ensure the file is not corrupt or damaged. If the District is unable to open an attachment because it is damaged, corrupt, infected, etc., the District may disqualify the Bidder's submission. The CONTRACTOR shall furnish all qualified labor, materials (except as otherwise stated herein), transportation, traffic control, tools, equipment (except as otherwise stated herein) and supplies necessary to excavate to expose the stormwater vault, demolish the vault, remove and dispose ofreinforcing bar, prestress tendons, embeded pipe, metal items, crush and screen to specified size, reuse as compacted fill, re-grade and restore the site described herein and in the Specification and the Contract Drawings.
