Site work for a water / sewer project in McAllen, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work consists of replacing sanitary sewer main pipe networks via pipe bursting method at different locations within the City of McAllen. The City of McAllen/McAllen Public Utility reserves the right to refuse and reject any or all Bids and to waive any or all formalities or technicalities, or to accept the Bid considered the best value to the City, and to hold the bids for a period of sixty (60) days without taking action. This project is being funded, in part, by Community Development Block Grant funds and is sub-ject to the following Federal requirements: Executive Order 11246; Clause 3 of the HUD Act of 1968; Title IV of the Civil Rights Act of 1964; Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1968; and Section 109 of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, the Davis-Bacon and Related Acts as well as State laws and regulations. In addition, the successful bidder must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, color, religion, sex, age or national origin.
