Site work for a water / sewer project in Baker, Louisiana. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Citys Master Plan recognizes that one key component in community sustainability is its watershed plan. The ability to adapt to extreme weather and climate change by moving water through the Citys drainage system requires that the waterways included in this system be sufficiently maintained. This project involves clearing and grubbing any debris along the bottom of the ditch that runs from (1) South Magnolia to Cypress Drive parallel to Day Drive (approx. 4,860 linear feet); and (2) Cypress Drive to Day Drive parallel to South Street (approx. 1,905 linear feet) to allow for the uninhibited flow of water. A pre-proposal meeting will not be held. Receipt of written inquiries/clarifications Jul 21, 2022. Questions or clarifications of RFP requirements shall be submitted via email by the date indicated in the Schedule to mstages@cityofbakerla.com. Please include Drainage Projects Inquiry in the subject line. Should you not receive a response within 48 hours, please contact Mary Sue Stages at 225-683-9832 to ensure that your email was received. Response to written inquiries/clarifications Jul 22, 2022 Small and minority businesses, women or veteran business enterprises and labor surplus area firms are encouraged to submit proposals. Firms using subcontractors must solicit such firms in the subcontracting process.
