Scope includes, but is not limited to, the furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, services and incidentals for the modernization of both of the existing hydraulic freight and passengers elevators, including new controls and other related work such as; replacement of hydraulic equipment, electrical circuits and disconnects, new sump pit drainage and related fire sprinkler and fire alarm work. Goal Participation: There is no goal required for this solicitation. Refer to "Procurement Preferences for Broward County Small Business Enterprises and County Business Enterprises." Basis of Award: The basis of award shall be to the lowest, responsive, and responsible Vendor by Group. Refer to Special Instructions for additional information. County/State License Requirements: In order to be considered a responsive and responsible Vendor for the scope of work set forth in this solicitation, the Vendor must possess a specified license at the time of submittal (refer to Special Instructions for requirements). Bid Guaranty: Each submittal shall be accompanied by a bid guaranty in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid amount (refer to Bid Guaranty, Performance and Payment Guaranties, and Qualifications of Surety Requirements). Questions and Answers: The County provides a specified time for Vendors to ask questions and seek clarification regarding the requirements of the solicitation.
