Cherokee County Board of Commissioners is seeking Bids for general and masonry repairs to the Burn Building at the Cherokee County Fire Training Center. The Burn Building is a live fire training structure located at 3985 Holly Springs Parkway, Canton, GA 30115. The burn building is a two-story structure measuring approximately 2,650 square feet. There are 8 burn rooms (rooms used for live fire training). The burn building structure consists of poured-inplace reinforced concrete slabs supported by poured-in-place reinforced concrete columns and poured-in-place reinforced concrete shear walls. The concrete columns and walls are supported on concrete spread footings. The masonry walls consist of partially reinforced concrete masonry units (CMU) and are non-structural (neither load-bearing walls nor shear walls). The ground floor consists of a concrete slab-on-grade with turn-downs at the perimeter of the structure. Anticipated Award Date December 7, 2021 EL&M No.: 21026
