Renovation of a mixed-use development in Henrietta, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 470,043-square-foot, two-story above grade educational facility.
For: 1) General Construction Work, 2) Heating, Ventilating & Air Conditioning Work, 3) Plumbing Work, 4) Electrical Work, and 5) Roofing Work, for the Rush-Henrietta Central School District's "2021 Capital Improvements Project" (to be performed at Roth Middle School and Sperry High School) The Board of Education hereby reserves the right to waive any informalities and reject any or all bids or to accept the one that in its judgement will be in the best interest of the Rush-Henrietta Central School District. Any Bidder, upon returning such set in good condition within thirty (30) days after date set for Bid opening, will be refunded his deposit, and any Non-Bidder so returning such set will be refunded fifty percent (50%) of his deposit. A Bid Bond or Certified check made payable to the Rush-Henrietta Central School District in the amount of five (5%) of the Bid, subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders, must be deposited by each Bidder with his Bid as a guarantee that if the contract is awarded to him, he will within ten (10) days thereafter, execute such contract and furnish satisfactory Performance and Payment Bonds, and that bidder shall not withdraw his Bid for a period of forty-five (45) days after the above date of Bid Opening, and to guarantee the performance of all other obligations of the Bidders as set forth in INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS. The Rush-Henrietta Central School District, New York is required to comply with New York State's public bidding and prevailing wage rate laws, to advertise for public bid repair, maintenance and other public work contracts, and is required to incorporate prevailing wage schedules in any such contracts which may involve the employment of laborers, workmen or mechanics. Documents will be available for pick up at DataFlow, Inc., 176 Anderson Ave Suite F200, Rochester, NY 14607 Phone 585-271-5730 and, if requested, will be mailed to Bidders upon receipt of deposit and reimbursement for cost of mailing. Mailing fee for one set to be confirmed with Dataflow. Check for mailing fee shall be payable to DataFlow, Inc. The work will be completed by August 31, 2022, over a construction period of approximately 3 months during spring and summer 2022, to accommodate the school district's education programs. Some portions of the work will only be allowed to be constructed during summer recess. See below for proposed schedule. The work consists of Alteration Level I and II renovations as defined by the New York State Building Code.
