On February 1, 2022, the Natrona County Board of County Commissioners selected an engineer for design and construction management services. As of December 28, 2022, design is 75% complete. Public bid, solicitation and award is expected for February/ March 2022. Construction is anticipated to begin in Spring/ Summer 2023. Proposed Gravel Pit located in section 35, T34N - R89W of the 6th PM and the bidding of the crushing of gravel and placing said gravel on County Roads in the area (such improvements being referred to herein as the work) Road and Bridge is seeking proposal from professional engineering firms to be the "Construction Manage Agent" for Road and Bridge construction consultant providing administrative and /management services to the public entity throughout the design and construction phases of a public work. Once as qualified Construction Manager Agent is Selected pursuant to the provisions of Natrons county's procurement procedures, Road and Bridge shall negotiate a contract with selected firm for its services in completing the public Work. The firm will be required to provide its proposed draft such a contract for discussion purposes. copy of the land- owner agreement is available far review/checkout at the Road & Bridge office. The selection procedure that will be used to select the best qualified Construction Manager Agent for the Public Work is the procedure set forth in the complete RFP package, but such Agent will be selected from the set of engineers who have submitted complete proposals as required by the RFP. The selection process shall require the individual interviews referred to In the RFP which will include discussion of each firm's projections of the costs of the Work and price of the Agent's Services, the firm's qualifications, approaches to completing the Work. The firms ability to furnishing additional professional Services(such as those of design professionals, surveyors and geotechnical engineers) and ability to protect Natrona This RFP does not obligate Natrona county any costs incurred by respondents in the preparation or submission of proposals , waive formalities,informalities and technicalities therein, and to accept whatever proposal it determines to be in the best interest of the county The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
