Contract Award anticipated November 19, 2021 Construction Duration: 90 Days from Contract Award Liquidated damages for exceeding the construction duration (due to no fault of the City of Monroe) shall be $100 per calendar day and may be assessed by the City of Monroe. Signage Contractor Requirements: Signage contractor to be licensed, bonded and insured in North Carolina. Signage contractor to obtain all electrical and signage permits. All permit and inspection fees to be paid by the signage contractor. Signage contractor to provide signage circuit in addition to subcontract all electrical design and installation for illuminated. signage, including remote power to existing electrical closet and timeclock for control. Signage fabricator to be located within 100 miles of project site; 318 East Franklin Steet, Monroe, NC 28112. Signage installer to contract directly with the City of Monroe; see attached City Contract for insurance requirements. All communication prior to bid shall be via email to the City of Monroe, Pete Hovanec phovanec@monroenc.org and Lauren Fike lfike@monroenc.org Addenda shall be issued as needed; all questions shall be received prior to noon EST on November 4, 2021. Final Addendum to be issued NLT 4:00pm EST on November 9, 2021.
