Lil Jess Lane Stormwater Improvement Project for Douglasville - Douglas County Water & Sewer Authority 8763 Hospital Drive Douglasville, Georgia 30134. IFB# 247 The Douglasville - Douglas County Water & Sewer Authority (hereafter referred to as the "Authority") is soliciting competitive sealed bids from qualified contractors for the performance of the Lil Jess Lane Stormwater Improvement Project (the "Project"), as more fully described in the Invitation for Bids. The scope of work includes the provision by the Contractor of all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, and supplies necessary to complete the work. The Project will be "turn key" and require minimal involvement of Authority personnel. The Project shall include the removal of approximately 331 linear feet (LF) of 48" corrugated metal pipe (CMP), one concrete headwall, concrete driveway, pavement, two double wing catch basins, and curb and gutter. Project will include the installation of approximately 159 linear feet (LF) of 66" reinforced concrete pipe (RCP), concrete driveway, 24" roll-back curb and gutter, ductile iron pipe (DIP) , two double wing catch basins (GDOT 1034D), and two concrete headwalls with aprons. The project will also include grading and swale improvements. The work will be installed in Douglas County and the neighboring residential areas adjacent to Lil Jess Lane by open cut methods as required and shown on the plans and specifications for the Lil Jess Lane Stormwater Improvement Project, prepared by Rindt-McDuff Associates, Inc., Brian Hart, P.E. All work will be performed within Authority easements and/or inside public right of way. All anticipated federal, state, and local permits required for the Project have been obtained.
