Sealed bids for furnishing all labor, material and equipment and performing all work required for the project titled, Traffic Signal at US 79 (Palm Valley Blvd) and Africa Ln (Brushy Creek Plant Rd) (project includes installation of a traffic signal and other work as described in the plans, specifications, and contract documents) Bids must be submitted on City of Round Rock bid forms and must be accompanied by an acceptable bid security as outlined in the Instructions to Bidders, payable to the City of Round Rock, Texas equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid amount. The successful bidder will be expected to execute the City of Round Rock's standard contract and to furnish performance and payment bonds, all as described in the bid documents. Contractors and subcontractors shall pay to laborers, workmen, and mechanics the prevailing wage rates as determined by the City of Round Rock. Award of the contract, if awarded, will be made within sixty (60) days after opening of the bids, and no bidder may withdraw his bid within said sixty (60) day period of time unless a prior award is made. A Notice to Proceed will be issued within sixty (60) days after contract Execution Date as defined in the General Conditions.
