Site work and paving for a civil project in Mill Creek, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; bridge / tunnel; and water / sewer project.

Cost Estimate: $1,500,000.00 - $1,700,000.00 (plus tax) Bids received after such date and time will not be considered. Bidders accept all risks of late delivery, regardless of fault. Bids properly received will be opened and read aloud publicly at the Districts Administration Building. District is not responsible for any costs incurred in response to this Invitation to Bid. The work under this Contract includes: Schedule A: Installation of approximately 1,350 linear feet of 8-inch C-900 PVC sewer main including manholes, steel pipe casing, and sewer lateral connections; removal/abandonment of existing PVC and ductile iron sewer main; installation of water valves; and trench surface restoration. Schedule B: Relocation of approximately 80 linear feet of 8-inch ductile iron water main, connection to existing system, and full-width pavement restoration over the entire project alignment. Sewer installation will require deep excavation (max depth approximately 20 ft below ground surface), crossing of high-pressure gas mains, crossing of a stream culvert, and temporary bypass pumping. The project is located in the Right-of-Way on 184th Place SE and 28th Ave SE. Restoration associated with the project includes, but is not limited to: trench patching; planing bituminous pavement; full-width HMA overlay over existing pavement; channelization; monument re-establishment; and reconstruction of shoulder surfaces, driveway, landscaping and other areas disturbed during construction. The location of work is in Snohomish County, Washington. The link for the MS Teams meeting, call-in number for audio, and conference ID will be provided in the S1909 Bid Documents folder on the District website prior to the Pre-Bid meeting. Bids shall be submitted in accordance with the Contract Documents. Bids shall constitute offers to the District, which shall be binding for 180 days from the date of bid opening. The District reserves the right to reject any bid, any portion of any bid and/or to reject all bids. The District further reserves the right, but without obligation, to waive informalities and irregularities. No bid will be considered unless accompanied by a bid guaranty (certified or cashier's check, surety bond, or postal money order) payable to Alderwood Water & Wastewater District in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the Total Bid Price. The following identifies the types of subcontracting opportunities that may be available on this contract and is provided only for informational purposes. Work Categories: earthwork (excavation, shoring, dewatering), mechanical (piping, valves), structural (manholes, vaults, falsework, etc.), paving, and surface restoration. All questions regarding this solicitation shall submitted no later than Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at 5:00 pm to the Districts Project Manager Luke Moilanen via email at LMoilanen@awwd.com. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
