Renovation of an educational facility in Orleans, Massachusetts. Working plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
**As of 12/20/2021, the project was not awarded due to overbudget. Slate Roof and Cupola Repairs at Nauset Regional Middle School Rear slate valley and main entrance cupola: Water test the entire rear valley and Main entrance cupola to find all leaks entering valley and surrounding areas. Replace any or all slate, valley flashing, ice and water shield and underlayment as necessary in valley. Inspect cupola for all flashing, aluminum trim coverage and any signs of damage that would allow for any water leaks into valley or surrounding areas. There is limited access in the rear of the building where the valley is located. Advise of any additional repairs. Left front cupola: Inspect copula trim boards, flashing and any surrounding slate roof shingles for water leaks into class rooms 234 and 235. Replace cupola trim, flashing and any surrounding slate shingles causing leaks as needed. Advise of any additional repairs. All man lifts and scaffold to be supplied by contractor and included in quote. Clean up area of all project debris and remove from the grounds. Obtain all necessary permits from the Town of Orleans as required. All products used in this project are to be asbestos free. All labor is to be paid per the Massachusetts Prevailing Wage Schedule. Weekly Certified payroll will be required for payment. CORI checks, OSHA Certification and COVID-19 Guidelines all apply
