The project consists of constructing traffic signal and ADA improvements at the intersections of Belt Line Road & Addison Road, Belt Line Road & Beltway Drive, and Addison Road & Sojourn Drive. The improvements include, but are not limited to, traffic signal construction, curb ramp construction, sidewalk construction, median nose construction, and landscape/irrigation improvements All questions must be received by 5:00pm on Wednesday, June 22, 2022. All questions received by this deadline will be answered by 5:00pm on Monday, June 27, 2022. Paper bids shall be required. An electronic copy of the bid shall be included in the envelope when the paper bid is submitted. A usb drive is preferred. Bids shall be accompanied by a bid bond in the same amount from a reliable surety company licensed by the State of Texas to act as a Surety and be listed on the current U.S. Treasury Listing of Approved Sureties, or a Binder of Insurance executed by a surety company licensed by the State of Texas to act as a surety or its authorized agent as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into a contract and execute a Performance Bond within ten (10) days after notice of award of contract to him. The right is reserved by the Mayor and the City Council as the interests of the City may require to reject any or all bids and to waive any formality in bids received and to select the proposal deemed most advantageous to the City. The Bidder (Proposer) must supply all the information required by the Proposal Form. A Performance Bond, Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Maintenance Bond will be required by the Owner; each Bond shall be in the amount of 100% of the total contract amount. Bonds shall be issued by a surety company licensed by the State of Texas to act as a Surety and be listed on the current U.S. Treasury Listing of Approved Sureties. The Bidder (Proposer) must supply all the information required by the Bidder Qualification Statement.
