The purpose of the bid is to seek quotes from a qualified vendor to furnish and install flooring at Shake and Bake Family. Furnish and Install- VCT Carpet Tile, Armstrong Standard Excelon Furnish and install LVT Karndean Opus Furnish and install Carpet Tile -Bigalow Headstrong 112 sq. yd Standard prep for concrete subfloor (cracks, holes Floor tile demolition (2 layers of tile) 408 sq. yd Furnish and install 4" Vinyl Base The Contractor shall provide and pay for all tools, vehicles, parts, equipment, warehousing, delivery/transport, employee payroll and benefits, transportation, material as well as all royalties, patented articles, appliances, processes, compositions, combinations, means, and things, and all other supplies and services necessary for and reasonably incidental to furnishing the product(s) or service(s) specified herein, as used in connection with this bid, except where otherwise specified as being the responsibility of the City. Award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder meeting the specifications, terms, and conditions and based on the Total Bid Price. Prospective bidders must be in good standing with the Maryland State Department of Assessments and Taxation to do business in the State of Maryland at time of bid. The City reserves the right to reject all bids and to cancel this bid requirement, or to revise the specifications and issue an addenda or a new bid if the City determines at its sole discretion that for any reason, rejection, amending, cancellation, or re-bid is in the City's best interest. Bidder must agree to provide samples upon request during the evaluation process. Contractor shall indicate if the samples are to be returned to the Contractor at the time the samples are delivered to the City. All costs for supplying, shipping, delivery and pick-up of samples shall be the Contractor's responsibility.
