The solicitation will close on or about 21 May 2022. This solicitation is set aside for 100% Small Business. Project Description (approx. quantities): Description of Proposed Construction: Construct a small arms range and CATM training & maintenance facility utilizing conventional design and construction methods to accommodate the mission of the facility. Facility shall be designed as permanent construction in accordance with the DOD Unified Facilities Criteria. The facility should be compatible with applicable DoD, Air Force, and base design standards. In addition, local materials and construction techniques shall be used where cost effective. This project will comply with DoD antiterrorism/force protection requirements per unified facilities criteria. Special construction requirements: all necessary exterior utilities, access pavements, fire protection, site work, and support. Provide utility connections for modular small arms range equipment components. The Contractor will be required to commence work within 10 days after Notice to Proceed (NTP) and complete the work in the proposed number of calendar days (Not to Exceed 730 calendar days) after receipt of NTP. Provisions will be included for Liquidated Damages in case of failure to complete the work in the time allowed. Performance and Payment Bonds will be required.
