The Rochester Genesee Regional Transportation Authority (RGRTA) is seeking proposals for the design of a shelter pad and sidewalk and the installation of a shelter pad, bus shelter and sidewalk - located southwest of the intersection of Chili Avenue & Wegmans Market Street, on the south side of Chili Avenue. Funding for this service is being sought under this Event include New York State and RGRTA funds. Therefore a 30% MWBE Goal and a 6% SDVOB goal have been applied to this Event. Any firm appearing on the Comptroller General's List of Ineligible Contractors is not eligible to participate in this Event. RGRTA is a tax-exempt Public Authority. Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Set Aside: No Total MWBE Participation Goals: 30% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Contracting Goal: 6% Scope of Work A. Provide survey of the project site suitable for development of construction documents for a 130+- feet long and 25 +- feet wide area for a shelter pad, bus shelter, and sidewalk. The engineer should determine the optimal location for the shelter pad, bus shelter and sidewalk. B. Provide the existing planimetrics of the proposed bus stop, including the edge of the of the existing curb - assuming horizontal and vertical datum. C. Establish Right of Way (ROW) limits, highway boundary and property lines of the proposed shelter pad and sidewalk. D. Prepare site plan showing new location for shelter pad, bus shelter and sidewalk and any required improvements. E. Verify that the dimensions of the shelter pad, sidewalk and any walkways to access the proposed shelter provide clearances in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). F. Submit necessary documents/forms to New York State Office of General Services (NYSOGS) for review and prepare/submit necessary revisions. Obtain NYSOGS construction permit and Code Compliance Certificate G. Coordinate submittal of plans to the New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) for approval and address any comments received. Secure any required permits from the NYSDOT. H. Coordinate submittal of plans to Community Christian Church for approval and address any comments received. Secure any required permits from Community Christian Church. I. Coordinate submittal of plans to Niagara Mohawk for approval and address any comments received. Secure any required permits from Niagara Mohawk. J. Coordinate submittal of plans to the local municipality for approval and address any comments received. Secure any required permits from the local municipality. K. Provide 32 hours of construction observation
