The Village of Fox Lake is seeking to have a shortlist of 1-3 contractors to complete various repairs within the Water and Sewer Department. The Village of Fox Lake currently maintains approximately 40+ miles of water main and 40+ miles of sewer and force main. The Village currently operated 25 lift stations with an additional lift station expected to be completed in the next three months. Occasional repairs with in the water and sewer system are needed and the Village will hire out contractors to complete the assigned work on the emergency breaks. Questions are to be directed in writing to noonank@foxlake.org for response. All questions are due by November 4, 2021 at 3pm. Responses to questions are due back to bidders by November 5, 2021 by 3:30pm. All bonds applicable to the Contract shall include a provision as will guarantee the faithful performance of the obligation to pay the prevailing rate of wages. All copies of the Bid and other documents required to be submitted with Bid shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope. The envelope shall be addressed to the Director of Public Works, Kealan Noonan and shall be identified with the project name, Bidders name and address, and if applicable, the designated portion of the work for which the Bid is submitted. If the Bid is sent by mail, the sealed envelopes shall be enclosed in a separate mailing envelope with the notation "BID ENCLOSED" on the front. The Village of Fox Lake will have the right to reject any or all Bids and reject a Bid not accompanied by data required by the Bid documents, or to reject a Bid, which is in any way incomplete or irregular.
