Saving Project...

Demolition and site work for a museum in Kawartha Lakes, Ontario. Completed plans call for the demolition of a museum; and for site work for a museum.

This Request for Quotations (the "RFQ") is an invitation by The Corporation of the City of Kawartha Lakes ("the City") to prospective Respondents to submit quotations for the demolition and removal of wall structures, as further described in Appendix C of the RFQ Particulars. The City of Kawartha Lakes is seeking quotations to complete the demolition and removal of the court yard walls and accessory structures at the Olde Gaol Museum, located at 50 Victoria Avenue North, Lindsay. It shall include backfilling, grading and landscaping to match existing grades and site conditions in order to restore the site. Continuation of the existing wood screening to surround a new service yard is also included in the contract. The City would like to see the most expeditious removal of the East Wall (Base Bid Removals) and thus would prefer to see the removal of the East Wall by December 31, 2021. All other work (Provisional Item: Separate Price #1) including site restoration, clean up and the rectification of any and all deficiencies is January 31, 2022.
