Project Description: The Project consists of all work indicated in the Contract Documents, which includes, but is not limited to: Roof replacement with selective demolition related specifically to the roof replacement work. Work will be under a single prime contract. Construction Contract: Bids will be received for the following Work: Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities. Prospective prime bidders are requested to attend. All attendees shall wear a mask upon entering the building. Virtual participation will not be provided. Successful bidder shall begin the Work on receipt of the Notice to Proceed and shall complete the Work within the Contract Time. Due to known material shortages, the scope of the roofing project is anticipated to be completed within 9 months. Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work Performance Bond, separate Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Insurance in a form acceptable to Owner will be required of the successful Bidder. An out-of-state contractor and sub-contractors will be obligated to show proof that they are registered with the Indiana Secretary of State to conduct business in the State of Indiana. Bid proposals shall be properly and completely executed on the Bid Form provided. Each bid proposal shall be accompanied by an executed non-discrimination commitment (as included in the Supplementary Bid Form) and the State Board of Accounts Form 96, as required by statutes of Indiana. D. The Owner reserves the right to request supplemental information provided by the bidder and may also conduct random inquiries of the bidder's current and previous customers.
