As of October 5, 2022, construction is complete. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: For furnishing all labor and materials for the construction of the Houchin elementary School Exterior Upgrade Project including the following Bid Packages: Bid Package 1 - Demo/ Sitework (Not Used) Bid Package 2 - Concrete (Not Used) Bid Package 3 - Masonry Bid Package 4 - Metal (Not Used) Bid Package 5 - Wood & Plastic (Not Used) Bid Package 6 - Thermal & Moisture Protection (Not Used) Bid Package 7 - Doors & Windows - as applicable Bid Package 8 - Finishes Bid Package 9 - Specialties (Not Used) Bid Package 10 - Equipment (Not Used) Bid Package 11 - Furnishings (Not Used) Bid Package 12 - Special Construction (Not Used) Bid Package 13 - Conveying System (Not Used) Bid Package 14 - Mechanical and Electrical (Not Used) A cashier's check, a certified check, or a surety bond in the amount of five percent %% of the bid shall accompany the sealed proposal of each bidder if the proposal is $50,000.00 or larger. Bid Guarantees will be returned to the unsuccessful bidders. The Board of Education reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids. The time period within which a contract will be executed following award to the successful bidder will not exceed thirty (30) days.
