Saving Project...

Renovation of a medical facility in Barrie, Ontario. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.

The Health Unit requires the purchase and installation of a backup natural gas generator with surge protector to run the entire Health Unit office at 15 Sperling Drive, Barrie, ON, which is divided onto two floors. The proponent shall provide quotes on both a 200 kW and a 250 kW natural gas generator. The Health Unit requires uninterrupted, 24/7 electrical connectivity to ensure the integrity of 7 large vaccine refrigerators, 2 vaccine freezers, the main computer server and computers. The Health Unit currently owns and operates a Generac 200 kW 600V NG generator that was installed and 2006 and currently provides back up power to the entire building. The current generator can no longer support the load of the building and requires replacement. An emergency backup generator is required for the 15 Sperling Drive, Barrie office to replace existing generator.
