The City of Sunnyvale is seeking proposals from Civil engineering and transportation planning firms to provide professional services for conceptual design, environmental clearance, and final design for the Stevens Creek Trail Extension, Remington Drive to Fremont Avenue. The scope of work includes preparation of conceptual designs and analyses, environmental clearance, final design development, bid documents, and bidding/construction support for Public Works competitive bidding. Ancillary work includes structural studies for creek crossings, hydraulic analyses for creek crossings, landscaping, green stormwater infrastructure, wayfinding signage, photo renderings, environmental studies for CEQA clearance (assuming IS/MND), identification of permitting requirements, obtain or prepare all required permits, construction cost estimating, schedule monitoring, preparation of reports and recommendations, community outreach and public meetings, and project management. The scope also includes coordination with stakeholder agencies including but not limited to Santa Clara Valley Water District, California Water, Caltrans, Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E), City of Los Altos, and City of Mountain View.
