The purpose of the project is to install new primary sludge pumps in a new FRP building at the Township of Livingston Water Pollution Control Facility. . B. This Section provides an abbreviated summary of the work for the Construction Contracts associated with the Owner's program to construct the project. C. In the event that any of the provisions in the technical specifications conflicts with the general conditions, the provision more favorable to the owner, as determined by the owner in its sole discretion, shall govern. The general purpose of the project is to: 1. Remove and dispose of three existing primary sludge pumps. 2. Remove and dispose of existing concrete pads and unused equipment and piping. 3. Remove and dispose of existing motor control center. 4. Provide three new primary sludge pumps and accessories. 5. Provide new primary sludge pump control panel and motor control center. 6. Provide new FRP building and accessories. 7. Provide new valves and piping associated with installation of new pumps. 8. Provide new access floor door. 9. Electrical work 10. Maintain sludge pumping capability during work and coordination with Owner. all in accordance with the form of proposal, contract, plans and specifications prepared by the Consulting Engineer, Steven C.
