Description of Work: The work includes but is not limited to: complete clearing of a wooded site and preparation of the site for the construction of a new animal shelter building including all site civil work, new site utilities, concrete foundation work, general construction work to provide for a complete building finished interior and exterior, construction of new mechanical, plumbing and electrical systems including sprinkler systems, F/A systems, telecommunication systems, etc., new parking area, site lighting and demolition of existing building including hazardous materials abatement, etc. Bids are being solicited for and separate contract(s) will be issued in accordance with the Wicks Law for the following trades: 1General Contracting 1Plumbing 1Electrical 1Mechanical Other The total Contract Time from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed until the total closeout of the project shall be 540 calendar days. The Contract Time to perform the construction work shall be 450 calendar days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed to Substantial Completion. The Bid security or deposit required to accompany this bid is Ten (10%) Percent of the total Bid price in the form of a Certified Check or Bid Bond.
