Demolition, site work, asbestos abatement and new construction of a municipal facility in Pomona, New York. Completed plans call for the construction of a municipal facility; for site work for a municipal facility; for the demolition of a municipal facility; and for asbestos abatement for a municipal facility.
Description of Work: The work includes but is not limited to: complete clearing of a wooded site and preparation of the site for the construction of a new animal shelter building including all site civil work, new site utilities, concrete foundation work, general construction work to provide for a complete building finished interior and exterior, construction of new mechanical, plumbing and electrical systems including sprinkler systems, F/A systems, telecommunication systems, etc., new parking area, site lighting and demolition of existing building including hazardous materials abatement, etc. Bids are being solicited for and separate contract(s) will be issued in accordance with the Wicks Law for the following trades: 1General Contracting 1Plumbing 1Electrical 1Mechanical 0Other The Bid security or deposit required to accompany this bid is Ten (10%) Percent of the total Bid price in the form of a Certified Check or Bid Bond. The County reserves the right to waive any irregularity in Bidding deemed in its sole discretion to be non-substantive or technical in nature, and to reject any or all Bids and to accept any Bid or Bids as submitted, or as modified, which in the opinion of the County will be in the best interest of the County of Rockland.
