The Objective of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to enter an Agreement with a competent, skilled, and knowledgeable Contractor to remove the existing Water Filtration System in an environmental friendly manner and the supply and install of a New Water Filtration System. All work to be complete according to all Acts, Standards and Regulations applicable in the Province of Ontario. The objective includes, but is not limited to: the Successful Proponent to provide all supervision, labour, materials, and obtain all required permits and licenses to complete the Turnkey Solution for the removal of existing and supply and installation on New Water Filtration System. The Successful Proponent will consult with a professional Engineering firm(s) as required to ensure the Supply and Install of the New Water Filtration System is complete according to all applicable Codes, including but not limited to Regulation 170/03. The Successful Proponent will ensure the removal and disposal of old equipment is complete in an environmentally friendly manner. The Successful Proponent will be responsible to complete all paperwork and documentation for the Smooth Rock Falls Hospital to obtain any incentive funding that is applicable and available. The Successful Proponent will be responsible for, but not limited to the following: - Removal of existing Water Filtration System - Disposal of existing Water Filtration System in an environmentally friendly manner - All plumbing work including but not limited to all disconnects and hookups for new water filtration system - All copper piping and fittings required to complete the installation of new Water Filtration System - Supply and install new Multi-Media Filtration Unit - Supply of two twin tanks - Supply of main controller - Supply of Multi-Media beds plus bedding - Supply and install new electrical circuit as required for New Water Filtration Unit - All electrical work require for the disconnects and hook up for the new water filtration system - Supply all cabling and fitting required to complete the installation of new Water Filtration System. - Any piping insulation that maybe required as a result of the addition of any new piping for the new Water Filtration System. - Two fabricated stainless steel pans to set under the filter - All testing (further outlined in RFP) - All permits and licences. - All work to be completed in compliance with all applicable codes, act and standards. - All supervision and management of project. - All equipment required to complete the removal and installation of new Water Filtration System. - All work to be completed by March 31, 2022.
