Rhode Island Commerce Corporation Request for Proposals for a New Facility for the Rhode Island Department of Health State Health Laboratories (RISHL) and Additional Private Laboratory Space The Rhode Island Commerce Corporation (Corporation), on behalf of the State of Rhode Island, seeks proposals from qualified entities to provide a site and develop a new facility for the Rhode Island State Health Laboratories (RIHSL) and additional private laboratory space. This Request for Proposals (RFP) provides an opportunity for all applicant teams with significant laboratory development experience who (1) own or control a site suitable for such a facility or (2) are interested in developing public sites, including an identified site within the I-195 Redevelopment District, to propose projects that would satisfy the state's key goals. The RFP process will consist of two (2) rounds. The first round of responses will be evaluated to determine which respondents best meet the requirements based on a set of published criteria. Those who are selected as finalists will be eligible to participate in the second round, which will involve a competitive negotiation process. Registration information is provided in the RFP.
