Site work for a water / sewer project in Kittanning, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The Project for which the Work under the Contract Documents may be the whole or only a part is generally described as follows: Grubbing, installation of a high wall drain, 15,000 cu. yd. of grading, addition of alkaline material, upgrade existing passive water treatment basin, and sedimentation control, and all other required appurtenances to complete the system. Each Bid must be accompanied by a Certified or Bank Check, or Bid Bond naming as payee or oblige, as applicable, Armstrong Conservation District, in the amount of ten (10%) percent of the total amount of the Bid as security for proper execution of the Agreement and submitting other documents as required by the Bidding Documents The Successful Bidder will be required to execute the Agreement and to furnish a performance bond and a payment bond, each of said bonds to be in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price, all in the respective forms provided in the Bidding Documents. Bidding and Contract Requirements for the contract is described in detail in the Plans and Contract Documents, including but not limited to: Instructions to Bidders, Bid Form, General Conditions, Supplementary Conditions, and Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Rates The Armstrong Conservation District reserves the right to reject any or all bids or parts thereof, to waive any defects or irregularities in the Bids, and to accept any Bid which, in its judgment, is for its best interest.
