Site work for a water / sewer project in Detroit, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The majority of the GLWA existing sewers within the collection system more than eighty (80) years old. Due to the age and deterioration of the sewer pipes, immediate repair and/or rehabilitation is often required. This project will encompass all Work as may be necessary to inspect, assess, rehabilitate, replace, and repair large diameter sewers and appurtenances on an emergency or urgent basis as directed by GLWA. At a minimum, the Contractor will be expected to furnish all labor, equipment, and materials as may be required for emergency or urgent repairs, rehabilitation, or replacement of sanitary and combined sewer interceptors., including manholes, structures, gates, lift stations, and other appurtenances normally associated with the conveyance of sanitary and combined sewer flows.
