Site work for a water / sewer project in Helen, Georgia. Working plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

As of December 22, 2021, this project did not receive any bids but a new bid date has not been established. Sealed bids will be received by the City of Helen, Georgia (OWNER), for furnishing all labor, tools, equipment, materials other than those listed as provided by the City, and any other miscellaneous items necessary for the construction of the Water Meter Replacement Project in Helen, Georgia. The Project consists of, but is not limited to the following major elements: Replacement of 676 each existing 5/8" x 3/4" domestic water meters, 41 each 1" water meters, 37 each 2" to 6" water meters, 7 each measuring chambers, and associated appurtenances. Includes the installation of Smartpoint modules for all meters. The City of Helen has purchased and will provide only the following items to the contractor: o All water meters o All Smartpoint modules o All measuring chambers Time of completion for all work associated with this project shall be one hundred fifty (150) consecutive calendar days from the date of a written "Notice to Proceed" from OWNER.
