*As of February 24, 2022, a general contractor has been awarded. Construction is scheduled to begin in June 2022. The Oakland Water Resources Commissioner (WRC) is soliciting bids for improvements to the North and South tanks located at the Walled Lake- Novi Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP). The first phase of this work was completed in 2021 for the East and West tanks at the same location. This work includes removal and replacement of two clarifier mechanisms, removal and replacement of valves, removal and replacement of electrical motor starters and disconnects, concrete repair of two cast-in-place open-top tanks, repair of existing interior steel walls of tanks, and provision of coating systems on steel and concrete walls, in accordance with all project specifications, drawings, and documents. Remove and replace two clarifier mechanisms. 2. Remove and replace valves. 3. Repair concrete of two cast-in-place open-top tanks. 4. Repair existing interior steel walls of same tanks. 5. Provide coating systems on steel and concrete walls. 6. Remove and replace electrical motor starters and disconnects.
