Brigham City Corporation is seeking bids for the Brigham City Library Childrens Area remodel to fill in recessed floor, remove wall covering and repair sheetrock, paint repaired wall, and replace ceiling t-grid tiles. All questions relative to this project prior to the opening of bids shall be directed to the Facilities Manager at (435) 734-6618. OWNERS RIGHTS RESERVED: The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informality in a bid, and to make awards in the interest of the owner. 1. Fill in recessed floor with 4" thick concrete. Base bid to include gravel infill with Geofoam infill as an alternate. Area to be infilled is 21'-0" X 10'-0" X 18" deep. 2. Relocate floor outlet box in recessed floor area. 3. Remove carpet and sheetrock on walls. 4. Furnish and install new sheetrock and paint walls. Figure walls 10'-0" tall. 5. Remove projector screen and repair T-Grid ceiling. 6. Please provide alternate price to remove and replace ceiling tiles in Children's Area. 40'-0" X 42'-0" ceiling area. 7. Remove existing 2' X 2' lights and replace with new 2' X 4' troffer lights with LED ballast bypass T8. Tie in new lights to existing Children's Area circuit. 8. Install 2' X 2' carpet tiles to match existing carpet. (Carpet provided by City) 9. Move thermostat around corner to Children's Area Office. 10. Move the light switch so it won't be behind book cases. 11. Set up temporary barrier to restrict access to area during construction. 12. Coordinate with Library on gravel/geofoam placement and concrete pouring date and time. (The library is closed the last Friday of every month.
