Renovation of a water / sewer project in Upper Marlboro, Maryland. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The project involves the disassembly of existing air scour piping in the plant's eleven tertiary filters for the replacement of the air diffuser nozzles, modifications to air piping headers, improvements to the mounting and support of the backwash troughs and crack and spall structural repairs to the filter's concrete walls and joints. All filter bays will have their filter media/stone removed for inspection and repairs to the existing underdrain tiles. All metal railings and bases are slated for removal and replacement in kind. All materials and workmanship shall be in accordance with WSSC standards. No trade is available for Renovation Severity. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
