The project is a remodel and conversation of the underutilized building spaces into the commercial use, including offices, conference rooms, reception, common break room and site improvement. No Proposal shall be considered unless it is accompanied by a cashier's check on any State or National Bank in Texas or acceptable Bid Bond from a company licensed to issue bid bonds in the State of Texas, payable unconditionally to the Owner, in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the aggregate total amount of the proposed price. The Offer Guaranty is required by the Owner as evidence of good faith and as a guarantee that, if awarded the contract, the Respondent will execute the contract and furnish the required bonds within ten (10) days after the Proposal is accepted. Within ten (10) days of the award of the Contract, the successful Respondent will be required to submit one hundred percent (100%) Performance and Payment bonds underwritten by a company licensed to issue bonds in the State of Texas.
