Notice is hereby given that the Muncie Sanitary District, through the Board of Sanitary Commissioners of the City of Muncie, will receive sealed BIDS for: The installation of approximately 1980 feet of 15 inch gravity sanitary sewer pipe and 7 manhole structures. The commissioners expect that the work would be completed and accepted within 120 days from start of construction. The work is outlined in the specifications for: MSD/PROJECT Fuson Road Sanitary Sewer Extension The Board of Sanitary Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all bids and waive any irregularities in bidding. Each bidder shall file the Indiana "Contractors Bid For Public Works" form No 96, rev. 2013. A certified check, bank draft, or a satisfactory bid bond executed by the bidder with a surety company in an amount equal to 10% of the bid shall be submitted payable to the Muncie Sanitary District. Attention of the contractors is particularly called to the requirements by law as to the conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rules to be paid on this contract as prescribed by State Statute. The successful bidder shall be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance and Payment Bond for 100% of the contract price and to return all executed Contract Documents within ten (10) days after the awarding of the contract. No bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled opening time for at least sixty (60) days.
