Justification: In comparison to other multi-purpose fields in the Township, Field 5 receives an overwhelming amount of use, the Soccer Association and its 1,100 participants constituting the bulk of users. Consistent use of this magnitude. causes breakdown of the carpet and rubber granules. The useful life of this artificial turf is 12 years, and replacement in 2024 would constitute keeping with that schedule. As February 06, 2023, this project is currently in the FY 2023 - 2027 CIP. Funding for this project is allotted in the city's capital improvement plan for construction FY 2025. A firm timeline has not been established; however, construction is scheduled for Fiscal Year 2025. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
