AHBL Project No 2200435.40, C200083-01 The Science Building Renovation will be a two-phase project to be completed under two separate contracts each with some preliminary surge scope. This contract is for all scope indicated as Phase 1 that is approximately 148,000 gross square feet cumulative between the two phases and includes the potential addition of a greenhouse structure in the courtyard that is considered a project alternate. The building will house classrooms, teaching labs, research labs, offices and support spaces.Science Building Renovation Surge Scope (Phase 1) consists of minor excavation, infrastructure improvements, partial interior renovation, and an addition to Cheney Hall as well as laboratory casework for a storage space in the Interdisciplinary Science Center. The renovation includes approximately 9,100 square feet of Cheney Hall and an approximately 500 square feet addition.The Science Building Renovation (Phase 1) includes a full renovation and modernization of approximately 81,900 gross square feet of Areas A, B and C as indicated in the drawings.
