PROJECT NO. 56652.020 The Project consists of construction of approximately 319 lineal feet of 24 inch, 6,990 lineal feet of 16 inch, 5 feet of 20 inch, and 22 feet of 4 through 12 inch Owner furnished ductile iron pipe raw water main, and furnishing and installing ductile iron fittings, water main appurtenances including valves, fire hydrant, combination air valves and manholes, and incidental work including seeding and permanent gravel driveway replacement, and construction of an automatic valve chamber, pressure reducing valve chamber, weir box, removal of existing valve chamber and associated piping and new valve chamber, and electrical and instrumentation and control work for the facilities.
Est.value- Contract One-$ 1.4 to $ 1.6 Million Each Bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, bank money order, or a Bid Bond in an amount not less than 10 percent of the Bid total, payable to the Owner in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Laws and regulations applicable to this Contract include the following: Commonwealth of Pennsylvania "Steel Products Procurement Act" - Act No. 3 of l978 as amended Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act (Act of 1961, P.L. 987, No. 442). Bidders are subject to all applicable provisions of the Pennsylvania wage laws, and bids shall be prepared accordingly. The applicable wage predetermination is included in the Project Manual. All contractors on this Project are required to ensure that employees and applicants will not be discriminated against because of race, creed, color, religion, sex, age, handicap, marital status or national origins; and, that the statutes and regulations of federal and state law regarding non-discrimination are met. The Owner reserves the right, at its option, to waive as an informality any, defects, errors, or omissions in any or all Bids; and to reject any or all Bids. Contract One-$ 1.4 to $ 1.6 Million
