Obtaining all required permits & inspections: . Road and sidewalk closure permits required to legally prosecute the work; Inspections of new work by City Utilities Department; c. Others as required. . Demolition as noted on the Related Documents; . Excavation and trenching as detailed in the Related Documents; Storage and re-use, as back-fill, of excavated material (per requirements of the Related Documents) once pipe replacement has been completed satisfactorily; Removal and storage of items (including handrails and soils) to be salvaged and re-used as noted in the Related Documents; Removal of sanitary piping and replacement of sanitary piping as detailed in the Related Documents; Backfill of trenches as detailed in the Related Documents; Replacement of concrete curbing and sidewalks as detailed in the Related Documents; Replacement of asphalt road surfaces as detailed in the Related Documents; Replacement of landscape features (grass and mulch) as detailed in the Related Documents;Safe and sanitary execution of sewage by-pass and/or collection work as required for the work; Traffic, pedestrian, and safety management;Domestic Water & Sanitary: a. While conducting the work during Business Hours, the Contractor shall ensure continuity of operation of the complete sanitary system associated with the Circuit Courthouse during Business Hours (Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm, except City Holidays) unless directed otherwise in writing;During periods outside of the Business Hours and during City Holidays, the contractor shall ensure that water to the facility is turned off to prevent errant use of water fixtures within the building..
