As of December 20, 2021, bids are currently under review. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: This project includes the roadway extension of Deacon Road to Wellborn Road and the removal of the existing Cain Road railroad crossing. The roadway extensions will be constructed with concrete pavement, monolithic curb, underground storm sewer, sidewalks, fiber optic, illumination and signal at FM 2154 and Deacon intersection. The railroad crossing removal will include all pavement and existing structures pertaining to the existing crossing. Statement of Work: o Removal of Asphalt, subgrade preparation and construction of 14,300 SY of concrete Pavement. o Construction of fiber, illumination and storm sewer o Construction of a traffic signal at FM 2154 o Contractor shall coordinate all work, inspections, and approvals with the City of College Station o Project shall comply with the United States Occupational Safety & Health Administration regulations. o Methods & Means of construction shall be compliant with all applicable Federal, State, and Local regulations. This includes obtaining all necessary permits and inspections. o Contractor to adhere to City of College Station construction administration procedures. o Maintain and submit all project records such as record drawings, project manuals, and warranties for approval by the City of College Station.
