**As of December 20 2021 CONTRACT WILL NOT BE AWARDED DUE TO BUDGET SHORTAGE.** The scope of work for this project includes furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, fixtures, and services required for guardrail modifications and installation at two locations: Iron Springs Road: Replacement of one 800' guardrail run on Iron Springs Road at Mile 4.7 with 700 linear feet of new MGS guardrail (6' steel posts) and 2 TL-3 MSKT guardrail end terminals. In addition, 210 cubic yards of imported fill shall be placed behind guardrail to build up embankment, existing concrete curb shall be removed to allow for a 2' wide shoulder overlay of 3" new asphaltic concrete with PG 64-22 binder, 515' of new AC extruded curb shall be installed; 37 tons of new asphaltic concrete is estimated for the project. Beaver Creek Road: Replacement of 4 guardrail runs that are currently connected to the concrete barriers on Beaver Creek Bridge. The project includes the removal of 180 linear feet of existing guardrail and 4 guardrail transitions to the concrete barriers, the installation of 4 new TL-2 rated ThrieBeam Guardrail Transition Systems per Texas DOT Standard Drawing GF(31)TR TL2-19, the installation of 50 linear feet of new MGS guardrail (6' steel posts), and 4 new TL-2 MSKT guardrail end terminals Bids shall include all applicable taxes and must be accompanied by a proposal guaranty in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, or surety bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the contract price bid, made payable to the Yavapai County Board of Supervisors Bidders shall be responsible for any licenses or permits required by the regulatory agency of the State of Arizona that apply to the performance of this contract. The Board of Supervisors of Yavapai County reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive formalities, and to accept the bid deemed to be in the best interest of Yavapai County.
