The College intends to award the contract to the vendor who best meets the requirements listed in this scope and offers the best overall value 3.1 SUNY Maritime College would like bids to be based on the following: 1- A total of 43 washer units and 43 dryer units are required (This is an estimate which may change - You will be notified of a change via addendum) 2- The dimensions of these machines should be approximately: Washers: 27" L x 28" D x 43" H Dryers: 27" L x 28" D x 36" H 3- The dryers must be "Stacked" 4- Both the washers & dryers must be high capacity, commercial front loading models 5- All machines must be coinless 6- On-site maintenance repairs must be addressed no later than 48 hours from the time of the initial service request 7- New signage for operation should be provided upon the contract start or time of installation 8- Vendor must offer an approved cleaning solution for the machines upon request. 9- All dryer unit vents must be cleaned at least once per year 10- Service technicians must check in with the housing office prior to any work being performed 11- Replacement units must be readily available if required during the term of the contract
