Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Des Moines, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The improvement includes conversion of one-way traffic to two-way traffic and construction of storm sewer,manholes, intakes, modified subbase, Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA) pavement, Portland Cement Concrete (PCC) curb and gutter, PCC sidewalk, traffic signals, traffic signs, pavement markings, and other incidental items; all in accordance with the contract documents, including Plan File No. 633-219/298 located on Grand Avenue from 5th Avenue to 2nd Avenue and 5th Avenue from Cherry Street to Grand Avenue in Des Moines, Iowa. This project shall be fully completed not later than December 30, 2022, and in accordance with the Completion Provisions. Engineer's Construction Estimate. $1,600,000.00 Bid Security. Each bidder shall accompany its bid with bid security. The City of Des Moines (Jurisdiction) reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
