PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Project includes the complete removal and replacement of the roofing membrane insulation, and sheet metal flashing with associated ventilation and electrical work. Interior Plumbing Replacement. Limited Masonry, Door and Window Replacement. BID SECURITY: Bid security must be submitted with each bid equal to 10% of the base bid and must be in the form of a CDB bid bond, certified check, cashier's check or bank draft. GOALS: Single Prime (General): The MBE goal for this contract is 20% (Twenty percent) of the amount of the contract awarded by CDB. The WBE goal for this contract is 5% (Five percent) of the amount of the contract awarded by CDB. The combined VBE/PBE goal for this contract is 3% (Three percent) of the amount of the contract awarded by CDB. Certification of Completion. Upon completion of the work set forth in the contract, the Contractor shall submit a certification demonstrating that it has met the 10% apprenticeship goal or received a reduction or waiver of the 10%apprenticeship goal for each prevailing wage classification.
