***As of January 7, 2022, the project has not yet been awarded. This bid will be awarded January 12, 2022.*** The budget for this project is $150,000. Vendors should maximize the use of any manufacturer's matching funds or grants that may be available and reflect such in their proposal. It is the intent of this RFP to solicit sealed proposals from qualified firms to establish a contract for the design, furnish and install of Playground Equipment at Hampstead Elementary School, 3737 Shiloh Road, Hampstead, MD 21074, all in accordance with the provisions of this Request for Proposal. The proposing company may be the direct manufacturer or designate its authorized dealer to provide the services. Questions and inquiries are to be directed to the Purchasing Office, Carroll County Public Schools, 125 North Court Street, Westminster, Maryland 21157. All questions are to be in writing and emailed to Cynthia Reilly, crreill@carrollk12.org and Jenny Yingling, jlyingl@carrollk12.org and received no later than November 17, 2021. Such questions(s) will be reviewed and where information sought is not clearly indicated or specified, the Purchasing Office will issue clarification via a written addendum which will then become a part of the bid and contract. It is anticipated that an award will be made at the January 12, 2022, Board Meeting. On-site installation can begin in March 2022. Scheduling will be coordinated with the contract administrator after award. It shall be understood and agreed that any and all articles, and/or equipment furnished, or contract awarded on this proposal shall comply fully with all Local, State and Federal laws and regulations.
