Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Bellingham, Washington. Design plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
As of October 9, 2023, this project is in the design phase and it is anticipated bidding will commence early 2024, with construction following. Closed solicitation has been included below for reference. The West Illinois Multimodal Improvements project consists of design, specification, and installation of new/replaced sidewalks, a roundabout, re-channelization and associated site restoration work along the West Illinois and Meridian Street corridors. The project will include installation of various hardscapes, sidewalks, driveways, curb/gutter items along with bike lane striping, crosswalks and shared lane markings. Services, including professional engineering services, and construction engineering and/or administration, may be added/removed from the contract contingent upon funding availability and project needs. This project is funded through a Washington State Transportation Improvement Board grant and City of Bellingham transportation funds.
