For Alterations to One Classroom and Toilet Building at Walt Disney Elementary School Burbank Unified School District is a participating member of the California Uniform Public Construction Cost Accounting Act pursuant to Public Contract Code section 22030. Estimate: $60,000-$200,000 Pursuant to Burbank Unified School District's Covid-19 Vaccination Addendum to Burbank Unified Services Agreement Resolution, which was passed by the Board of Education on September 2, 2021, all Contractor employees, partners, subcontractors, and vendors who work or provide services at Burbank Unified are required to provide verification that they have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 when entering an BUSD building or must have otherwise obtained an approved Covid-19 immunization exemption. Further, all Contractor employees, partners, subcontractors, and vendors coming onto an BUSD property must wear face coverings in indoor settings, except when eating or drinking, and must adhere to social distance requirements in accordance with C DC recommendations. Bids must be accompanied by a bidder's bond, cashier's check, or certified check for at least ten percent (10%) of the amount of the base bid and made payable to the Owner. A Payment Bond for contracts over $25,000 and a Performance Bond for all contracts will be required prior to commencement of work. These bonds shall be in the amounts and form called for in the Contract Documents. Bidders may submit pre-bid inquiries or clarification requests. Bidders are solely and exclusively responsible for submitting pre-bid inquiries or clarification requests no later than 11:00 AM, Nine (9) Business Days before the latest date for submittal of Bid Proposals. A California State Contractor's License (B-General Building) is required to bid on and perform the work required. The Owner will retain 5% of the amount of any progress payments.
