TCHC is seeking a Contractor for the provision of fire alarm upgrades at 200 Wellesley St E and 900-910 Queens Plate Dr. Proponents may bid on one or both locations. TCHC will be evaluating each location independently and will be awarding each location to the lowest total priced submission. Award of each location is subject to the assurance that the vendor has the proper capacity and capability to complete the project. The general scope of work at 200 Wellesley St E involves a fire alarm upgrade to the existing system which includes utilizing the existing single stage system, providing new Class A & Class B circuits, providing new detection/initiation/notification devices and new supervisory devices. Include in the scope is integration of the existing elevator recall system, the existing HVAC sequence and existing fire pump into the new fire alarm system. Provide a two-way communication system with fire alarm handsets located at exit stairwells on each floor. The general scope of work at 900-910 Queens Plate is to provide a new fire alarm control panel dedicated for sites 900, 910 and 920 Queens Plate. This involves provision of a new single-stage addressable fire alarm system including a new fire alarm control panel (to be backed up with emergency power) and annunciators. The scope also includes provision of new detection/initiation/notification devices, passive graphic and integration of the existing HVAC sequence of operating into the new fire alarm system.
